IC Tone Cold Acappella

Allie founded Tone Cold, an acappella group based on collaboration and community, in the spring of 2020. It began with only 4 treble voices, and quickly grew to a near-20 person SATB group from there. She began as and remained its music director until her graduation in 2023.

While leading the group, she programmed many themed concerts, such as “Back to the Earth,” “Music from Movies,” and “The Ugly Sweater Holiday Concert.” She began the Singing Valentines fundraiser as well as Acapalooza, a music-festival style concert which intends to create community among the acappella groups by featuring all of them and having them perform together. Both traditions are continued in the group to this day. She is proud that the group continues to uphold its collaborative and kind identity.
